Managing several clients
One account and one invoice for all your clients. Each client has its own organisation, which cannot see the others, and the brackets count the mailboxes of all organisations together.
One organisation per client
An organisation holds the mailboxes of one end client. It has its own IMAP server, retention and frequency. Until you set them, it inherits them from the account.
The mailboxes of all organisations count together for the brackets. Thirty clients with ten mailboxes each make three hundred mailboxes, priced as three hundred.
What is isolated, and what is not
Someone attached to an organisation sees that organisation only. Someone given access to a few mailboxes sees those mailboxes only.
Only you see the billing. An end client never sees a price, an invoice, or your other clients, so you can rebill them without showing your margin.
- The 100 GB per mailbox are pooled at account level, not per organisation. A client with a large archive is offset by the clients who store little.
- So there is no quota per organisation to manage. The breakdown on the billing screen shows what each organisation uses, for your own rebilling.
Giving access
Invitations are sent by email. We never set a password for anyone: the person chooses their own when accepting, and the link works only once.
There are three levels: administrator of the account, administrator of one organisation, or access to selected mailboxes. Give the last one to an end client who only wants to search their own mail history.
Declaring mailboxes in bulk
A CSV import declares several mailboxes at once: one mailbox per line, the address then the application password, separated by a comma or a semicolon. The report shows how many mailboxes were declared and lists the failed lines with the reason.
It is the quickest way to set up a client with thirty mailboxes, without copying and pasting each one.
Your colours
A reseller account can add its colour and logo to the interface its clients see, and its colour to the emails they receive. The logo is served from our domain, so your clients do not connect to any third party when they open the interface.
Emails use your colour but not your logo. An image loaded from a server tells that server each time the email is opened, and we do not want that kind of tracking in our emails.
